Job Description
SOS International Ltd. (SOSi) is seeking an Executive Protection Strategic Plans Subject Matter Expert (EP SME) within its Intelligence Solutions Group (ISG). The successful candidate will be a key member providing subject expertise in defining diplomatic security strategic plans and policies for a newly awarded US Government contract. The program will assess the client’s current organizational status, personnel resources, facilities, plans, policies, training programs, communications architecture, information technology needs, and other facets of diplomatic security. The program will produce and deliver a series of documented plans and policies on diplomatic security to include force protection, executive security, command and control, training programs, and other aspects of improving security of the host nation. The Executive Protection SME will produce written deliverables, brief the plan to the US and host nation officials, and identify the next steps of action.SOSi’s Intelligence Solutions Group has a focus on providing intelligence analysis, collection management, assistance and advisory support, information technology operations, and project management support to a wide variety of US Military and Intelligence Community members on a global scale. This program is managed from SOSi’s facility in Reston VA, with frequent travel overseas.

Essential job duties:
• Initiates and participates/leads consultations with potential stakeholders within the U.S. Government interagency, as well as Non-Governmental Organizations and other relevant civilian sectors, in order to conduct assessments of current plans and policies, resources, and future plans

• Supervises subordinate staff to ensure timely completion of tasks and assignments; enforce work standards; and review and/or resolve work discrepancies to ensure compliance with contract requirements

• Produces daily, weekly, and monthly activity and performance reports and other written materials, and provide analysis and recommendations to senior level management to support decision-making
Minimum Requirements
• Applicants selected must have a current government security clearance and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university or college; Master’s degree is preferred• Minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible experience supporting U.S. Government programs with focus on executive protection strategic planning, plans and policy development, concept of operations formulation, training programs, and command and control communications requirements

• Excellent customer service and the ability to sell customers on concepts and services

• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple activities under tight deadlines

• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills to include Islamic customs and cultural awareness

• Extensive proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications

• Candidates with experience in executive protection plans and policies of Secret Service, FBI, and/or Department of State Foreign Service operations are highly desired

• Candidates with proficiency in Arabic (speaking or reading) are highly desired
Additional Information
Work Environment:• Working conditions are typical of an office environment• This position requires frequent travel to OCONUS customer locations. For planning purposes, TDY trips may include travel up to 8 weeks in duration. Additional TDY travel may be required to Europe, Middle East, and Africa (which may include hazardous duty locations)

• May require ability to lift/and or move objects or packages of up to 50 lbs
