Johnson and Johnson is currently recruiting for an Executive Protection Specialist to be based out of New Brunswick, NJ.

The Executive Protection Specialist will provide safe and efficient transport and protection services for senior leadership/management as requested. Transportation is provided to designated/requested locations avoiding any possible harm to the executive in the transfer process.

The Executive Protection Specialist will transport executives assigned to the Executive Garage and visitors to and from corporate facilities, special events, and specified locations within local and outlying areas. The candidate will identify and avoid potential hazardous situations and/or life-threatening situations, and provide cover and remove passengers from harm to a safe location: i.e. Plan route of travel, implementing a diversion plan when necessary, to ensure a safe and uneventful conveyance. He/She will establish and maintain an identification code system for use in an event of an emergency: i.e. a code that would alert the executive of danger in a crowd or business event situation.

The candidate will maintain high level of confidentiality with regards to Corporate Executives to include family contact information, residence locations, and residence security systems. He/She will communicate schedule information/updates to administrative assistants as requested.

The individual will follow company safety procedures and practices: i.e. Use of company cars for company business only, record mileage from garage starting point to garage return. He/She will assist in parking executive/company vehicles as necessary or upon request and perform miscellaneous transport services. The candidate will oversee the overall appearance and operation of company limousines and arrange for proper maintenance and service as required. Additionally, attend defensive driver training class once a year and perform other duties/projects as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications
A minimum of a High School degree or equivalent is required. A minimum of 15 years of experience in Executive Protection and/or Law Enforcement is required. Ability to demonstrate good business judgment along with a high level of confidentiality is required.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are necessary and must exhibit excellent customer service skills and always maintain a professional appearance. A concealed weapons license is required, and must be able to carry a concealed weapon at all times. Must be able to successfully complete: semi-annual firearms qualifications; Executive Protection Trainings; Evasive Driving Techniques, and drug screenings. CPR certification and AED trained is preferred but will be required training. Must be available to be on-call for emergencies and be adaptable to constantly changing schedules which may include overtime hours, weekends, and holidays.

Must be able to service several trips throughout the day and successfully maneuver the challenges of: city and airport driving along with hazardous weather conditions. Knowledge of metropolitan areas, including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Philadelphia (all major and private airports, and train stations), and all Johnson & Johnson affiliate companies is required.

Must possess the strength and physical ability necessary to perform the essential functions of the position (i.e. carry luggage and boxes, etc). Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and executive garage SharePoint trip program.
