Bowhead is looking for a Protection Support Subject Matter Expert in Portland, Oregon.

Duties include:
Assist in the development and execution of Protection Plans
Draft Antiterrorism, Physical Security, Law Enforcement and CBRNE program plans and strategies including appropriate annexes, supplements, and checklists and develop plan and strategy writing templates for subordinate commands.
Coordinate staffing of plans/strategies and track changes.
Coordinate the execution of the Protection Executive Committee and Working Groups
Draft meeting announcement and track participant responses.
Coordinate meeting logistics to include room reservations, VTC set-up, teleconference set-up, prepare presentations and read-aheads, and capture meeting minutes.
Maintain the Division/Center Repository
Establish and maintain a repository of Protection related documents, subordinate locations and facilities Antiterrorism and Physical Security Plans, DOD and Army regulations, message traffic, tasks, and exercises and training for Division/Center and subordinate affiliated USACE locations and facilities.
Provide Protection-related assistance to subordinate commands
Assessments, Surveys and Staff Assistance. Contractor will be required to actively participate in visits throughout the area of responsibility to provide presentations, assist in plan and policy development, and improve users’ knowledge of the programs. Staff assistance may extend to explaining USACE Protection implementation guidance.
Develop and track exercise and training program
Track Level 1 Antiterrorism training for the Division/Center and subordinate commands.
Develop tracking tool and capture Protection exercises for subordinate commands.
Coordinate and monitor the Comprehensive Higher Headquarter Assessment and Self-Assessment Programs (to include monitoring , tracking, and entering assessments into the Core Vulnerability Assessment Management Program (CVAMP))
Develop a master calendar and a tracking tool that captures subordinate commands’ Higher Headquarters Vulnerability Assessments (VA) and Program Reviews) and local self-assessments (VAs and Program Reviews). Once developed, ensure tool is updated as needed.
Develop a tracking tool to capture observations from Programs Reviews for subordinate commands until the observations are closed or mitigated by the commands.
Enter all assessment observations into CVAMP; monitor and track all observations until mitigated or closed. Required Skills
Must be Anti-terrorism Level II Certified
Computer skills at a minimum should include a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Detailed knowledge of all related protection requirements and associated /evolving issues.



SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must be able to maintain a clearance at the SECRET level. Required ExperienceBachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 5 years of relevant experience.

Candidates must pass a Non-DOT pre-employment drug screening, and must follow all Non-DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Program Requirements.

All post-secondary education listed on a Candidate’s application and resume must be verifiable, including but not limited to dates of attendance and degree/diploma awarded. Post-secondary education includes any courses taken through an accredited college or university in pursuit of a degree.
