Job Purpose
Provide an effective and Professional Protection Service to High Risk Personnel (HRP) from Harassment, Embarrassment and risk of violence, kidnapping, Hi-jacking or any situation which may arise
Key Responsibilities
* Receive the itinerary from the High Risk Personnel (HRP's) Secretary
* Review the different activities that the HRP plans to do
* Travel the routes and identify safe routes, alternative routes to the venues where the HRP will be visiting or attending meetings to inspect the roads for unexpected changes, road work, detours, and closed lanes
* Inspect the vehicle for road worthiness and electronic devices that may be attached to the vehicle
* Ensure that vehicle that the HRP will be travelling in has the following foam filled tank, run flat tyres, additional battery, fire extinguishers, spare tyre, Jack and wheel spanner, Water
* Maintain the vehicle by taking it for regular services
* Protect High Risk Personnel from Embarrassment, Harassment, threats, political, stalkers. Kidnapping by identifying and managing potential risk
* Implement and maintain physical security plans, specifically related to High Risk Protection Services
* Compile hrps' profile and manage their personal particulars such as allergies, blood group, next of kin details and immediate family profiles such as schools, restaurants
* Transport HRP to and from their meetings and venues
* Escort HRP on foot to and from their meetings and venues
* Check that residential security systems are fully operational
* Comply with ad-hoc requests from the clients

Minimum Requirements
* Certificate or National Diploma or equivalent NQF level 5 qualification or higher qualification
* Three (5) years experience as a Close Protection Officer
* Experience in Police or Armed Forces
* Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and the Internet
* No criminal record
Preferred Requirements
* First Aid Level 3 and or Remote Medical Assistant
* Martial arts
* Anti-vehicle explosive devices
* Preference will be given to South African Citizens and Permanent residents of South Africa in possession of proof of permanent resident status
