Oil and Gas Support Services: Asset Protection Coordinator – Short Term Cover
Salary: £415 per day
Minimal Risk has been contracted by a well established Independent Oil Company to provide an Asset Protection Coordinator, reporting to the Asset Protection Manager, for ongoing and Seismic/Drilling operations in Kurdistan.
This is initially a short term contract to cover the period 6 Jul to 16 Aug 13, but could lead to further opportunities depending on the individual and position availability.
The preferred candidate will be responsible for the management and coordination of all asset protection capabilities in the operating block. Management of centralised camp facilities and liaison with internal and external partners associated with camp.
Responsibility also extends to the coordination of the security strategy within the block and ensuring implementation in agreement with the Asset Protection Manager. Carry out liaison with senior partners within the organisation at several different locations within Kurdistan.
You will be responsible for the strategic tie in of asset protection plans and procedures with the Community Affairs Manager and have direct management over the Asset Protection Supervisors (Day & Night) with oversight and sign off on tactical planning.

Ideally some experience of working with Indigenous or National Guard forces.
Health and Safety Qualifications or at least some experience
Must be able to start handover on 6 July 2013.
