Job Description
The world’s leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for an Executive Driver. In this position, you will transport and escort the Chief Executive Officers of the Bank. In addition, you will provide deterrence on an executive level in and out of the bank. You will also observe and report,
deter criminal activity and misconduct, and perform other duties as specified in post orders. In addition, you will provide chauffeur service to senior client executives and visiting dignitaries in the New York City area. You must maintain close contact with senior executives’ secretaries regarding itineraries and logistics, travel times, location, etc. while in New York City. You will chauffeur New York based senior executives, chauffeur executives to and from their residence and airport transports. You will also assist in the protection and safety of passengers.

Main Responsibilities
Perform security escorts in vehicle; ensure that tasks are completed on time; handle multiple demands for commitment of time, energy, and resources
Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
Provide assistance to customers, employees, executives and visitors in a courteous manner
Interpret rules and regulations
Mediate conflict with tact and diplomacy; interpret behavior and emotional patterns in individuals and groups, communicate facts and ideas clearly both orally or in writing
Maintain vehicle in a clean serviceable condition, transporting cars to dealership, responsibility for emergency repairs to vehicles

Ideal Candidate
Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Must possess a current and valid New York State Armed Guard License
Must be certified in each of the following:
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
Automated external defibrillation (AED)
Basic first aid
Must possess a current and valid New York City Chauffeur’s license

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

A minimum of 5 years work experience civilian or military law enforcement

Highly technical driving skills
Problem solving skills to handle and prioritize executive’s requests vs. other duties
Good levels of interpersonal skills to exchange information, answer questions, interact with senior executives and greet visitors
Effective oral and written communication skills

Other
Must be at least 21 years old or the minimum age
Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
Must be able to drag a person from the vehicle to a prone position in order to administer CPR/Heart Defibrillator
Must be willing and able to work flexible schedules to include work evenings and weekends
Must possess knowledge of New York City and Tri-State areas, Manhattan, airports, etc.
Must possess knowledge of law enforcement policies.
Must possess knowledge of basic automobile mechanics.
Must possess expertise in driving regulations.
In an emergency situation, must have physical ability to hastily move executive into vehicle, to enter chauffeur vehicle expediently to depart area.
Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
Must be able to pass an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
Upon acceptance of a job offer, must be able to pass the following:
MMPI - Psychological testing
Physical exam



Physical Requirements and Environment
Environment: Indoor and outdoor, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat
Major activity: Driving, walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing
Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Standing, walking, and sitting; Minimal to no stooping or kneeling.
