Under broad direction, ensure appropriate
protection is provided for Halliburton senior
executives to include, but not limited to: the
Chairman, CEO, CFO, members of the Board of
Directors and other executives and their families.
Manages the coordination of executive protection
transportation requirements through the
Executive Protection Coordinator and assigned
Executive Protection drivers assigned to the fleet.
Will participate in all aspects of internal and
external security to include: personal protection,
corporate facilities, residences, airfield and event
security, ground and air transportation, protocol
and special projects. Coordinates off-site planning
and visiting dignitaries. Provide law enforcement
liaison with local, state and federal law
enforcement agencies. Identifies threats to
Halliburton and personnel and develops plans to
mitigate risk. Conducts risk assessments of all
personnel covered by Corporate Security's
executive protection services. Participates in
professional forums and maintains currency with
trends and developments in the executive
protection field. Advanced First Aid and advanced
Executive Protection Training are preferred.
Extensive experience in threat identification and
mitigation as it relates to executive protection in a
corporate environment.
Incumbent will frequently
travel domestically and internationally to areas of
high risk. Job is responsible for Executive
Protection, including but not limited to
transportation, domestic and/ or international
travel, serves as a protection officer for
Halliburton Executives as per company policy and
members of Board of Directors. May need to
engage in physical activity in the event of
potentially life threatening event.
Completion of
an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice or
equivalent area of study, or eight years
experience in Executive Protection Security
Details and possession of a Personal Protection
Officer (TX) designation along with 8 years of
experience in executive protection security details
is preferred. Must submit to and pass a Position of
Substantial Authority background check. Annual
MVR check.
