Description
Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking an On-Call Executive Protection Officer 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in McLean, VA.

Roles and Responsibilities:
This position is On Call only-hours not guaranteed-no benefits package.
Provides protective services for company executives, members of the board of directors, and visiting dignitaries on an on-call basis.
Plans, coordinates, and ensures personal protection throughout facilities, residence, airfields, off-site events, and ground and air transportation.
Recommends procurement and installation of security equipment to mitigate risks to personnel.
Maintains personal profiles and conducts risk assessments of personnel covered by protection.

Performs security advances of all business and event locations to be visited by the principal to ensure the personal protection and safety of the executive.
Coordinates logistical support for executive events and travel.
Maintains a high level of physical fitness and a professional demeanor/appearance at all times.
Responds to, assesses, and takes appropriate actions during emergency situations.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
High School and 4 years additional education or AA Degree.
5+ years of Law Enforcement, Executive Protection, or Corporate Security Experience.
Frequent domestic and international travel, often on short notice is required. (On Call)
Current CPR/First Aid Certifications.
Possess a valid driver’s license and passport.
Extensive knowledge of routes and locations in the Washington D.C. area.
Strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to successfully interact with all levels of the organization with discretion and integrity.

Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
Current Active Top Secret Clearance.
10 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
Comprehensive knowledge of current security and law enforcement techniques, issues, equipment, and procedures.
Advanced training and experience in evasive/tactical driving.
Graduate of a reputable federal, state, local, or private sector training program focusing on executive security.
Current or retired law enforcement officer from a local jurisdiction.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
