Job Description
Representing the client, the LATAM EP Coordinator will be responsible for identifying, managing, implementing and communicating all things related to “Executive Protection” in Central America, South America and the Caribbean.

Responsibilities:
Providing executive protection to designated Executives.
Conducting Executive Security pre-advance and advance operations.
Remotely monitor Executive Security Operations in the region.
Enforce existing Existing Protection Unit (EPU) standards, as well as define, develop and refine
security and safety programs as required to provide reasonable protection of designated members of the Executive staff from random or premeditated threats.
Safeguard and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information about designated members of the Executive staff.
Work with the Regional Security Manager (RSM) and Regional Security Advisors (RSA) to identify Executives and implement a security plan that meets EPU operational standards.
Work with the Intelligence Team, RSM and RSA’s, to monitor and address regional executive security issues.
Identify, develop and manage security vendor resources. This requires measuring performance including delivery methods, quality of service, pricing, reporting, and customer satisfaction (Executive principles and staff).
Collect and deliver information to the Intelligence Team regarding Executive related persons of interest (POI’s) in the region.
Conduct security audits and advance work for locations frequented by executives. Recommend and supervise protection measures for new and existing Executive locations.
Reviewing, developing and continually refining Executive security procedures for response to incidents. Communicates to the Executive Security Director resources required for successful delivery of the executive protection program.
Provide Project management of Executive security related programs, from concept design through project completion.
As directed, acts as primary contact for executive security emergency issues and supports the Executive Monitoring Center during disasters. Position requires on-call availability 24 x 7.
Analyze and resolve non-routine problems. Advise Executive Security Director of proposed changes to policy/procedures as well as extenuating circumstances regarding security related issues.

Qualifications summary:
Must speak English as well as Spanish and/or Portuguese
Security, military and/or law enforcement experience in Central and/or South America
Eligible to work in the United States and able to relocate to the Ft. Lauderdale, FL office
Valid driver’s license
Must pass background investigation to include:

Driving record
Credit history
Work history / Military service
Education / Training
References
The ideal candidate will have a 4 year degree in a related field and/or have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an executive security/protection related capacity in a corporate/private/Government setting
Excellent organization, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills are required
PC skills are required (Microsoft Office, at a minimum)
Contract management experience
Must meet designated physical fitness standards
