This position leads our global
executive services initiatives to include special events security and
personnel protection programs. This is a tactical role with strategic
implications. This role will focus on “getting things done” in a fast
moving time sensitive environment. This position reports to the
Director, Global Threat Management. This will be a key team member
interfacing with business units across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:

- Direct and oversee the Company’s Executive Services (ESG) team, which includes responsibility for global threat mitigation and protective security operations
- Manage enterprise threat vulnerability assessment and signature reduction programs
- Lead the implementation of best practices within the ESG team to scale with our business and international expansion
- Manage and provide guidance related to travel safety, threat mitigation, signature reduction, and low-profile executive & high-risk personnel protection
- Identify and cultivate strategic internal and external relationships
- Insure compliance with international and Company protective operations and reporting standards
- Develop and manage training programs and accountability metrics for ESG team
- Provide oversight and contract management to vendor teams providing protective security services, information analysis, crisis planning, critical incident response, signature reduction and technical services
- Identify and implement systems, equipment and procedures to insure Company personnel and key equities are protected from unnecessary risk
- Develop and manage controls to insure compliance with international standards
- Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: participating in special projects, system enhancements, ad hoc analyses, leading threat & vulnerability assessment teams, leading dignitary protection and/or special event security teams as assigned
- Master’s degree in International Affairs, Diplomacy, Strategic Affairs or equivalent relevant work experience preferred
- Minimum 15 years experience with US federal law enforcement, intelligence community agency or direct commercial government contracts with primary responsibility in dignitary protection, intelligence, and/or regional affairs
- Experience conducting high-level major event security threat assessments, planning, and operations (e.g. National Special Security Events, International Conferences, United Nations, World Cup, Olympics, etc)
- Experience working in the corporate domain with an in-depth understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities facing a rapidly growing Company
- Experience as a manager and leader interfacing with high-level government and Company officials on a daily basis
- Current TS/SCI clearance
- Extensive international experience leading highly technical operations, liaison and high-level planning in a cooperative joint environment
- Experience managing effective cross-functional technical and non-technical teams from diverse backgrounds in geographically isolated locations
- Willingness and ability to travel on short notice in support of ESG operations
