Job Description: Event & Executive Protection Supervisor needed for New York City:
  • Responsible for the coordination of all aspects of the Executive and Event Protection Unit to include, but not limited to; planning and conduct of security advances, security surveillance, close order protection, airport pickup/departure, personal escorts, and communication with Law Enforcement when applicable
  • Focuses on pre-planning of vehicle and foot movements, and will perform advance work on all known locations that the Principal is scheduled to visit in efforts to develop a threat assessment and formulate plans to mitigate potential risks
  • Coordinates with the EEP Manager, Security Drivers and the Personal Assistants regarding any changes to executive schedules
  • Analyzes and safeguards executive agendas, residential information and other confidential information pertaining to executives
  • Performs scheduling of EEP personnel and make arrangements for adequate post coverage. Detailed pertinent information is disseminated by the EEP Supervisor to team members while off-post to avoid any potential disruptions
  • Responsible for scheduling and coverage for Drivers Pool program
  • Maintains data related to executive vehicles and ensures vehicles/drivers are compliant with NYS DMV requirements
  • Responsible for briefing the staff with daily operational information such as start times and post rotations
  • Responsible for the tasks, duties and performance of the EEP supporting external security vendors in the Americas
  • Discusses and implements strategy and recommendations of EEP Manager
  • Monitors the status of the EEP Team NY basic and advanced training and maintains records accordingly
  • Evaluates in cooperation with the EEP Manager and Global EEP Coordinator “After Action Reports” and “Quality Measurement Reports”
  • Personally performs tasks in EEP wherever tactically appropriate and timely manageable
  • Maintains cooperation with the executives closest staff (i.e. personal assistants)
  • Handle security issues in connection with the executives private residential objects
  • Maintain close cooperation with the people responsible for the security of Critical Buildings
  • Support the EEP Team in deployments in their region, in particular, in consultation with security services, in establishing contact with security authorities
  • Depending on the individual knowledge and training level, personally performs tasks in EEP wherever tactically appropriate and timely manageable
  • Commission, in consultation with EEP Manager, contracted security service providers to carry out executive protection measures or to produce expert opinions
  • Maintain a close cooperation with Event Management and consult with the people responsible on planned measures in connection with Event Protection
  • Inform the EEP Manager about upcoming events of the bank / events with the participation of bank representatives in the region
  • Consults with EEP Manager, Global EEP Coordinator and Head of EEP Team on planned protection measures, in consideration of the PI produced Risk Assessment (either Individual or Event based)
  • Responsible for the tasks, duties and performance of the EEP supporting external security vendors in the region
  • Responsible for producing the operational planning documentation specific to each EEP Mission
Qualifications: • Possess a bachelor's degree in law enforcement, security, business or other field approved and five (5) years prior law enforcement or security experience. Must have good management and communications skills; or

o Associate's degree in law enforcement, security, business or other field approved and seven (7) years prior law enforcement or security experience. Must have good management and communications skills; or o Graduate of a recognized major civil service law enforcement academy and ten (10) years prior law enforcement or security experience of which four (4) years must be in a responsible charge position. Must have excellent management and communications skills. Other Competencies:

  • Understanding of electronic security systems, CCTV, access control systems
  • Experience in hiring, developing, motivating and retaining quality staff.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills required.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, complex situations, a diverse team of employees and client requirements on an ongoing basis.
  • Previous payroll, billing and scheduling experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment while having an entrepreneurial attitude.
