Description:
To drive regional travel security evacuation planning, operational and business development support to the International SOS and Control Risks distribution channels in order to drive customer satisfaction and profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Supporting the growth of the security business in the region through a focus on quality of service and support to sales and marketing efforts:
Sales/bid team membership for significant new business or renewal opportunities
Marketing activities
Referrals to CR and/or International SOS
Big event planning, packaging and sales
Providing local market, customer and competitor insight

Operational Deployment & Case Management
Ensuring that clients’ calls and cases are effectively managed to the highest levels of customer satisfaction
Ensure 24/7 on-call operations coverage is maintained through effective rostering of RSC staff
Maintaining awareness of the regional security situation through monitoring the Travel Security Online and Country Risks Forecasts reports and open sources and through daily interaction with the Regional Information Manager (RIM)
In close cooperation with the RIM, provide advice to the GSC on adjustment of country and city security travel advice
Maintenance of the RSC’s operational capability; ensuring country evacuation plans and deployment preparedness are all effectively maintained
Deploying as or leading an Incident Management Team in response to an incident where clients require on-the-ground assistance
Building a network of high quality security service providers throughout the region, working closely with regional Control Risks offices and the Global Assistance Network teams in International SOS


Training and Evacuation Planning
Delivering Security Awareness Training and Evacuation Planning across the region and, where personal expertise enables, outside of the region

Required Work Experience
Experience in security operations management: in military, government (officer or senior NCO), or private sector roles;
Extensive experience within the region, including relevant language skills and work experienceInternational (security) work experience

Training delivery experience


Required Qualifications
Accredited as a Certified Protection Professional by the American Society of Industrial Security or similar industry body
Undergraduate degree (or relevant professional training) in a field related to security or international relations studies.


Required Languages
Excellent spoken and written English and Spanish Language.


Travel / Rotation Requirements
Travel will be required from time to time to meet the requirements of the business.
