General Description
To execute Security and Safety objectives as outlined by Lone Star Security’s company Policies & Procedures. Close Protection work detail includes working in the Denver/ Metro and surrounding areas primarily with the possibility of work in Eagle and Summit counties. Work schedule is flexible and changes regularly with the addition of new contracts.
Qualification Requirements
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
Ability to perform job tasks in an extremely professional manner, while
providing exceptional customer service in a fast paced environment.
Good Physical fitness, vision and hearing.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
Provide credible references and I-9 Employment Eligibility Documentation (legal eligibility to work in the U.S.).
Excellent observation skills to spot potentially dangerous situations.
Confidence to react quickly using their own initiative.
The ability to work as part of a team.
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to remain calm when under pressure and surrounded by dangerous situations.
Discretion, respecting client confidentiality.
Knowledge of law related to security
Job Duties May Include (but Are Not Limited To)
Protecting their clients from threats of distressing, intentional and unintentional harm including physical violence.
Premises surveillance such as hotels, restaurants and theatres.
Surveying the layout of venues, noting potential hazards and exposure to risks.
Accompanying the client on business and social trips.
Armed Guard Protection of client and client’s assets.
Working around Client’s schedule, which can vary depending on the duration of the contract
Work at indoor and outdoor venues such as rallies, concerts, political meetings, conferences and premieres.

Interview Process
To be considered for this position, an applicant must proceed through the group hiring session interview process. You will be asked to complete a background check and drug test to be considered an eligible candidate.
Training
Training will be conducted immediately upon hire. Courses include Lone Star\s Delta "On-Boarding" class and Charlie "Core Competencies" class. CPR, First Aid, AED instruction and certification will be included in these courses. There is also a Bravo “Advanced Competencies” training which includes safety and security leadership, management techniques, risk management, crisis intervention, and defensive tactics. Security Officers are expected to attend regularly held ongoing training in firearm safety and qualification shooting as well as ongoing practice of skills learned. The final stage of training is Alpha is “Close Protection Specialist”. This is a three part training course designed to prepare officers for work in Professional Close Protection. Close Protection Officers MUST complete every level of the training that Lonestar Security offers.*

Standards of training and will be tested on your knowledge base using
our curriculum.*
