We are currently looking for CORPORATE SECURITY MANAGER in our Holland, MI facility.
The Role
The Corporate Security Manager is responsible for identification, development, implementation, and management of Haworth’s North American enterprise-wide security strategy/ program covering physical security, member protection and travel security, workplace violence, crisis management and business continuity. The Corporate Security Manager also provides input to global security strategies and programs to ensure safe and secure workplaces world-wide.

Requires the ability to travel overnight away from corporate offices, including internationally, up to 15% of the time.
Requires the ability to walk, climb ladders and/or stairs, and stand for prolonged periods of time; frequently exposed to production environment.
Requires the ability to respond to situations such as fires, medical emergencies, police and/or security actions, chemical spills, and natural disasters.
Requires the ability to operate Haworth security vehicles.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Social Science, Business or Liberal Arts.
Ten years security experience in a business environment dealing with security planning and program management.
Five years supervisory experience.
Three years experience managing programs/projects such as risk-threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, implementation of enterprise security monitoring systems, emergency response planning and investigative practices and protocols.
Valid driver’s license.
First Aid and CPR certification.

Other Requirements
Thorough knowledge of industrial security practices and loss prevention principles.
Knowledge of executive protection principles and concepts.
In-depth technical knowledge of security standards, programs, techniques, and state-of-the-art equipment.
Working knowledge of (or ability to find information about) “best in class” security regulations and practices globally.
Ability to act as a consultant to others.
Strong interviewing and investigative skills.
High degree of integrity, ethics, responsibility, and dedication; ability to calmly facilitate appropriate resolution to difficult emotional and crisis situations.
Capacity for proactive and strategic thinking and track record demonstrating initiative, self-motivation, organizational leadership, and results-oriented attitude to influence outcomes.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills; able to communicate with impact.
Self-directed; minimal supervision required.
Ability to operate at senior level but also possesses hands-on nature to carry out detailed actions and high quality work.
Must obtain and maintain Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification within 18 months of moving into role.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in Law Enforcement.
Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification.
Experience in global business organization preferred.
