Risk and Compliance provide risk and compliance services across all BNY Mellon businesses. Organizationally, Risk and Compliance includes the following groups: Risk Management, Compliance, Global Corporate Security, Information Risk Management and Global Business Continuity. Risk Management oversees and delivers risk services and ensures new business risks are reviewed and approved. Risk Management is organized through Chief Risk Offices for each core business and critical operation. Risk managers provide shared support to BNY Mellon for operational risk services for Global Corporate Trust, Depositary Receipts, Treasury Services and Global Operations in EMEA. Compliance helps ensure BNY Mellon's businesses maintain appropriate processes to comply with applicable laws, regulations, BNY Mellon policies and ethics. This is accomplished through business- and business partner-specific teams of professionals, under centralized global management.

Description
The Global Corporate Security (GCS) Travel Risk Specialist (TRS) is responsible for assisting with the planning, directing, and implementing a global travel security program. The person in this position will liaison with travel security vendors, travel service providers, medical services, regional security officers, other government agencies, and national weather and aviation services. The TRS will assist with managing the Emergency Operation Center (EOC) during times of crisis; they will assist the Travel Risk Manager (TRM) in developing and managing the travel security section of the GCS WEB Page to include official posting & updating. The TRS will assist with handling Cap Index requests, coordinate security for Executive travel, and assume the responsibility of arranging protection for company officers as they conduct official business anywhere in the world. The TRS will assist the TRM in providing security briefings to GCS management, company pilots, and Executives. The TRS will aid in the maintenance of the travel tracking and intelligence platforms. The TRS will assist the TRM with liaison with business units on all travel security needs, provide education and customer service to current and pending travelers, ensure London and New York Security Command Centers are trained and briefed on all travel security related matters, the Travel Risk Specialist will provide reports on a routine basis on the analytical and statistical climate of the travel security program.

Qualifications


High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelors Degree preferred. Five (5) years of security management experience, prior military or law enforcement, or ten (10) years of security experience preferred. Executive and/or dignitary protection, force protection (Military), or logistics and travel planning, CPP, CPO preferred.
