Position Description: Protective Services Officer/ Investigator
Red Five Protection Services is seeking highly motivated individuals with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience to staff Protective Services Officer/ Investigator positions at a corporate campus. We are looking to fill a number of positions with qualified Protective Service Officers.

QUALIFICATIONS
• 4+ years of military or law enforcement experience, 2+ years of investigative experience, or 6+ years of security experience.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Combination of education and work experience may be accepted.
• Maintain an understanding of Local, State and Federal Laws that are relevant to the successful execution of duties.
• Recent military, law enforcement, or fire training is mandatory.
• Executive protection experience is mandatory.
• Advanced emergency medical training is mandatory, above first aid and CPR.
• Emergency Medical Technician training is desired but not required.
• Maintain an understanding of investigative skills.
• Maintain an understanding of fire life safety skills.
• Good physical health, strength, and agility.
• As required, maintain appropriate licensing for the locale in which the assignment is staffed.
• Strong interviewing/interrogating and investigative report writing skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner always maintaining confidentially.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and work independently.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work under adverse conditions and stress.
• Ability to blend into various professional environments.
• Ability to solve dynamic problems and use good judgment in a rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships and liaison with local, state, federal, military, and international law enforcement.
• Ability to command critical disaster or crisis events with little or no supervision.


RESPONSIBILITIES
Protective Services Officer/ Investigator shall perform the following, but not limited to, activities:
• Capable of executing competent “first responder” duties.
• Respond to and mitigate threats to corporate assets.
• Effectively respond to any hazard which threatens corporate assets.
• Effectively command disaster, crisis, and emergency incidents until relieved by a more qualified responder.
• Review and process pre-employment and background investigations.
• Assist in the adjudication of background results in compliance with Local, State and Federal Laws as well as company requirements, policies and processes.
• Understand and follow all applicable FCRA and consumer privacy laws and regulations.
• Provide support to corporate client by gathering and reporting on information relevant to investigations through email, telephone or in person interviews.
• Collect, review and report on various sources of information to aid investigations including review of Digital Video Recorder (DVR) captured video, badge access reports, historical network activity, computer forensic analysis, etc.
• Coordinate investigations with other investigative professionals and law enforcement.
• Submit reports or briefs as required to appropriate supervisory or management personnel.
• Conduct threat assessment, security site surveys, and protective intelligence of corporate assets and events.
• Assist in the development of protocols and practices to assess and mitigate threats to corporate assets.
