Job Description:
-Provide chauffeur service to GM senior executives and visiting dignitaries in the NYC area. Maintain close contact with senior executives’ secretaries regarding itineraries and logistics, travel times, location, etc. while in NYC.
-Chauffeur New York based senior executives.
-Chauffeur executives to and from their residence.

-Airport transports.
-Maintains vehicle in a clean serviceable condition.
-Assists in protection and safety of passengers.
-Emergency repairs to vehicles.
-Frequent contact with others outside the work group.
-Senior driver to receive / delegate driving assignments.
-Retired ex NYPD preferred.
-High level of Integrity and confidentiality. Confidentiality is crucial - what you see/ hear stays with you and NO ONE ELSE!

Company Vehicle Program
Driver will coordinate with top senior executives, (those who have driver privileges in NY), for their vehicle exchanges.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

-Bachelors preferred, not required
-Flexibility – driver must be available to work evenings and weekends
-Reside in the tri-state area
-Knowledge of New York City and Tri-State areas, Manhattan, airports, etc.
-Possession of a valid state driver’s license with a good driving record.
-Ability to function and use sound judgment in high profile situations.
-Basic Microsoft office computer skills.
-Oral and written communication skills.
-Knowledge of law enforcement policies.
-Excellent physical condition.
-Knowledge of basic automobile mechanics.
-Good levels of interpersonal skills to exchange information, answer questions, interact with senior executives and greet visitors.
-Problem solving skills to handle and prioritize executive’s requests vs. other duties.
-Must have highly technical driving skills.
-Expertise in driving regulations.
-Must pass skill and ability reviews conducted by outside consultants/driving instructors retained to ensure that drivers possess requisite abilities to appropriately recognize and avert danger and threats.
-In an emergency situation, must have physical ability to hastily move executive into vehicle, to enter chauffeur vehicle expediently to depart area.
-Must be certified in administering CPR and Heart Defibrillator and knowledge of basic first aid.
-Ability to drag a person from the vehicle to a prone position in order to administer CPR/Heart Defibrillator.
-Must be fit to perform duties, e.g.;
-Vision correctable to 20/40. Include vision tests that measure peripheral

vision, depth perception and color vision.

-Hearing – general function
-Pass stress test
-Drug screening
-Ease in shoulder and head mobility for defensive driving practices
