In this position, the Protective Services Manager will be responsible for the overall protection of facilities, safety of employees and customers by implementing and managing
the enterprise Security Program along with developing safety solutions. Language proficiency in English and Portuguese required. EXPATS welcome to apply.
Role Responsibility:
• Maintaining knowledge of current criminal trends and emerging threats. • Responding to and taking appropriate action where either environmental or criminal activity threatens the safety or security of employees. • Conducting Security and Life Safety Training to include training Lines of Business leadership and employees in order to enhance emergency preparedness programs. • Conducting scheduled risk assessments of each facility to insure adequacy of security and recommend mitigations where needed. • Developing relationships with internal and external key business partners and executives to advance security and safety initiatives. • Liaising with and providing assistance to government and law enforcement agencies on matters concerning security and other related inquiries. • Maintaining relationships and partnerships with city, and county public and private agencies or organizations responsible for emergency planning and response. • The management of security services vendors for security related projects to ensure compliance with Protective Service enterprise standards and guidelines. • Representing our client ,the bank at security related conferences and other appropriate public functions when needed. • Providing on ground security support during an in-country visit by our clients senior executive or special events involving our clients employees and customers. • Provide on ground support for legal investigations to include logistic support for travel, assisting in interfacing with government and law enforcement agencies as it pertains to an active investigations and engaging the cooperation of local landlords for access. • Emergency response and preparedness activities, to include development and implementation of corporate-wide programs within the region. • Working with senior management to develop emergency response and preparedness policies and procedures consistent with our clients, corporate security protective service’s operating guidelines and identifying human and material resource needs. • Planning, implementing, and coordinating the development and readiness of the clients facilities in collaboration with Business Continuity, the bank’s facility partners, building management and facility security officers. • Designing, planning, and conducting periodic emergency management exercises for management, area managers, and employees. • Provide guidance to key business partners and lines of business leadership regarding the safety of employees and customers.

• Bachelor's Degree
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required
• Extensive experience with enterprise security program management. • Strong business partnering skills with individuals across the organization and desire to work in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to communicate professionally and interact with all levels across the organization • Exceptional problem-solving and time management skills. • Self starter, works independently, capable of working in a production environment and managing to deadlines. • Ability to multi-task and work in a heavily matrix environment.
Skills Required
• Knowledge of laws, legal codes, precedents, and/or government regulations that impact the policies and procedures of Security. • Knowledgeable with supplier/vendor management. • Proficient computer/software skills - Experience with Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc. • Must be able to read and write proficiently in English and Portuguese.

• Spanish desirable • Experience in services at Financial Market institutions preferable • Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment). • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications
