Gavin de Becker & Associates is an elite private security firm that protects and advises the nation’s most at-risk public figures and organizations.

We are a seeking a female Protection Specialist to work a dynamic detail based out of Los Angeles, CA.  
  • Dynamic.  Our associates operate in dynamic environments, protecting at-risk public figures during international travel and within the greater Los Angeles area.  The ideal candidate has close protection experience, including advancing locations, managing logistics for field and residential operations, as well as responding to emergencies.
  • Travel.  This position requires international travel. 
  • Salary.  Earnings start at $50,000 to $70,000 per year.  Overtime opportunities are also available.

Desired Skills and Experience

Required
  • Physically Fit.  Prioritizes fitness and can meet the physical demands of the dynamic detail.  To be considered, candidates must at least pass minimum physical requirements.
  • Protection Experience.  Demonstrated exceptional results in a security role.  Prior experience in a similar role, such as advance work, logistics management, and close protection.  
  • GDBA Fit.  Embodies integrity, professionalism, and high ethical standards.  Shows a potential to thrive within GDBA's mission and culture.
  • Background Check.  Must be able to pass our pre-employment background check, as well as our drug and nicotine screening.
Preferred
Prior Military or Law Enforcement.  Previously worked with special operations teams, such as Navy NCIS, Air Force OSI, Army CID, and USMC CID.
