We are looking for a highly qualified candidate two assistants to fill up the position of Protection Monitoring Officer in Tripoli office.

DRC are operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC kill six project offices Throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia / Libya, Turkey, and botheration a country and regional office in Jordan.

DRC Lebanon er assissting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the commission of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects.

About the job
The Protection Monitoring Officer vil Implement and monitor DRC protection program, including protection monitoring and advocacy, community-based protection assistance two persons with specific needs in Tripoli

Duties
• Supervise mobile teams of Protection Monitoring and Protection Desks Assistants in urban and rural settings;
• Organize day-to-day time management and work of the team enligt hver staff Thurs. (Incl. Development of weekly schedule and staff work plan);
• Receive referrals from different agencies, Prioritize type of assistance two be Provided, assign referrals two protection assistants and sikre Timely individual protection assistance and follow up ice Provided;
• ENSURE Protection components are on track, including the development of protection monitoring tools in Coordination with the Protection Manager These components include protection monitoring and residual individual protection assistance;
• Link the protection monitoring program two localized advocacy groups and other relevant local stakeholders (incl. The Community-Based Networks Organized through the municipalities by DRC, service providers, etc.) where applicable;
• Contribute to the overall protection weekly / monthly report underlining protection issues and related trends and figures in Coordination with the Protection Manager;
• Maintain and update database protection monitoring;
• Coordinate with all relevant local and international protection stakeholders;
• Work with Closely with PSS and Capacity building officer sikre GBV / Child Protection prevention and response is dækkende Addressed across sektorer and humanitære intervention;
• Any other Duties Relating til nature of the job as directed by the Protection Manager.

About you
a) To be successful in this role you must have Bachelor in Social work, political science, law or related field; Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility in working overtime når needed; Fluency in Arabic and English required; Minimum three years experience in related field; Experience managing teams; Experience Providing trainings and capacity building of staff

Ideally you også having Master degree in Law, Human rights or other related field; Excellent reporting skills; Previous experience in international organisasjoner and humanitære settings; Previous experience working with Syrian refugees in Lebanon

Salary and conditions bliver in accor dance with the Danish Refugee Council's Terms of Employment for National staff. This position bliver sat ind to level C1, equivalent two $ 1,561 per month.
