Overview:
Due to contract award, SOC is recruiting for a Deputy Detail Leader (DDL).
Responsibilities:
  • Assume all of the responsibilities of the Detail Leader in the absence or when this one is off duty.
  • The DDL shall be designated as a protective security specialist (P).
  • The DDL is required to attend the protective security specialist (PSS) training course, as outlined in contract.
  • The DDL shall maintain weapons qualifications as outlined in this contract, for the
  • Glock, M4, Shotgun, M240, M249, and M203 and familiarization fire for the AK47.
  • DDL vetted personnel are authorized to permanently fill the Labor Categories of the Shift
  • Leader, PSS, and the Deputy Detail Leader/Guard Supervisor in case of shortages with the approval from client.
  • Administrative functions, such as, work schedules, post assignments, personnel matters, etc. 
Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizen, as specified by the Task Order.
  • Level 3 English proficiency.
  •  Six (6) years of experience in protective security assignments.
    • One (1) of these years shall have been in a supervisory or in-charge-capacity.
    • Twelve (12) months of protective security experience working under the same contract guidelines, or similar program.
    • Three (3) of these months shall have been as a Shift Leader under the same contract guidelines, or similar program.
  • Experience can be gained in the employ of any national, State/Provincial, Local or commercial entities providing high threat protective services that require skills similar to those outlined in the contract.
  • Must have a personal and, if appropriate, military discharge under honorable conditions.
  • Must be able to pass an in-depth medical screening in order to meet the requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be familiar with first aid procedures.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Personnel Security clearance.
  • Meet minimum firearms proficiency pre-requisites, including formal training on: Familiarity with      weapons safety concerns and procedures.
  • Be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Must be able to pass an in-depth background check.
