Job description: A fantastic opportunity as arisen for an experienced Security Manager to head up Security operations for a global market leader. Based in Lagos, Nigeria, and reporting directly into the MD, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all company staff, in the region and further afield.
You will be the driving force behind the entire security function, devising and deploying all security initiatives in line with the Company's overall security strategy.
You will also: Perform and support security reviews, risk assessments, and security audits.
Advise and assist with choosing security systems, installation projects and vendor selection
Advise and provide recommendations related to travel security and other security matters for staff including residential security for expat employees and contractors
Prepare and disseminate threat assessments, security forecasts and incident reports to C-suite and the security management team
Act as lead for any incident management, and liaise with local/National authorities.
Candidate profile: You will need to be:
An experienced Corporate Security Manager with a background in working at high level within Africa, ideally Nigeria
Previously worked with a multinational Management team
Ideally ex-Military/Law enforcement, with 5 years demonstrable success as a head of security for a multinational private sector environment
A good communicator with strong networking skills
Degree desirable, or industry specific qualifications including CPP or similar
