Description:
The Assistant Special Security Advisor will provide the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) or United States Force-Afghanistan (USFOR-A) with SCI security operations support. This role will
support ISAF/USFOR-A by aiding in the other entities and agencies in the Combined Joint Operating Area – Afghanistan (CJOA-A).

Duties: • Process personnel background investigations for special security
clearance actions including, but not limited to, formulating and ensuring
compliance with automated information systems security procedures; suggesting,
implementing and monitoring compliance with the ISAF/USFOR-A special security
policies and procedures.
• Conduct and coordinate the training for special security representatives; and
performing liaison with Government, NATO and industrial security officials.
• Support collateral and higher access and badge procedures
for the ISAF/USFOR-A headquarters, in coordination with the CJ2 military staff.
•Provide sensitive compartmented information (SCI), and special security support to the ISAF/USFOR-A, IJC or RCs.



Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years experience in compartmented programs in DoD, U.S.
Intelligence Community or supporting U.S. contractors.
• Experience in security training or security inspections is highly desirable.
• Hands-on security professionals with extensive resources and abilities to work
with customers providing all sensitive compartmented information (SCI), and special
security support to the ISAF/USFOR-A, IJC or RCs.
• Solid and varied experience in planning/accrediting facilities in accordance with
the DCID 1/21 standard.
• Thorough familiarity with all security clearance processes.
• Working knowledge of security policies and procedures to include NISPOM, NISPOM
Supplement, DCIDs, and DIA M-1 Manual.
•Active TS/SCI Clearance
•U.S. Citizenship required.
•Must pass DoD CRC requirements for deployment to Department of State (DoS) declared Contingency or Combat Zones.
•Must adhere to standards of conduct as established by the operational or unit commander to include General Order #1.
•Experience in security training or security inspections is desirable

•Attendance of pre-deployment training at Ft Bliss, TX required.
