Job Summary  
Pinkerton is seeking part-time Executive Protection Agents to provide for the welfare, physical protection, and security of a client by performing armed executive protection assignments.
 
Essential Functions:

The Essential Functions Include:
  1. Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance and excellence.
  2. Provide close protection and other security functions for the client.
  3. Travel to domestic locations with the client to perform executive protection assignments.
  4. Respond to emergencies to ensure the safety of the client.
  5. Deescalate tense situations or individuals that arise at the client’s residency or at events.
  6. Write detailed incident reports following any incident, occurrence, or variance that warrants documentation.
  7. Communicates vulnerabilities or safety concerns in a timely manner.
  8. Identify and escalate equipment deficiencies/failures.
  9. All other duties, as assigned. 

Minimum Hiring Standards :
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
  • Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., email, cell phone).
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
  • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to carry a firearm.
  • Must have permit to carry a firearm.
Education/Experience
High School Diploma or G.E.D; with prior in physical security, military service and/or law enforcement.
Competencies: 
  • Current/Active CCW required (Prior military/law enforcement background highly desirable).
  • Current CA Guard Card and Exposed Firearm Permit.
  • Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, radio, email, text, etc.).
  • Substantial background in providing concierge customer service.
  • Experience with and working knowledge of access control systems, CCTV, alarm monitoring, etc.
  • Ability to use computers with Windows OS and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Successful problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Professional demeanor and solid communication skills (interpersonal, radio, email, text, etc.).

  • Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection survey.

  • On occasion, may be required to perform stressful and physical activity.
  • Seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly in order to respond effectively to situations, communicate with employees and clients, observe and report incidents and direct others.
  • Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
  • Occasional walking and reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
  • Some lifting and moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
  • Close and distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • Travel, as required.
