Job Description:
Position Description and Responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to the following:
Performs executive protection escorts.
Takes responsibility of their designated area to assure it is a safe, clean, and tension free environment.

Conducts all duties necessary to run and maintain the V.I.P. podium of MIXX.

Obtains necessary information, compiled from incidents, to document and complete incident reports.

Assures that Crowd Control Specialists remain on their assigned post and are performing their responsibilities to their full capacity.

Takes responsibility and leadership as a first responder to incidents.

Assures that their designated area meets all fire regulation standards.

Works diligently to support the One Borgata Way culture and team philosophy throughout the property.

Acts as a role model to all associates and always presents oneself as a credit to Borgata and encourages others to do the same.

Promotes positive public relations and creates and enjoyable atmosphere for all customers.

Patrols place of entertainment to preserve order among patrons and to protect property.

Respond to all emergencies, i.e., fire alarms, medical aid, criminal, etc. to give necessary assistance.

Running up a fire escape, assist in evacuating customers, attempting to revive a customer utilizing CPR and pursuing individuals who have committed a crime on our property.

Circulates among customers to prevent improper dancing or similar activities, and to detect persons annoying other guests, or damaging furnishings of establishment.

Warns customers guilty of infractions and evicts them tactfully from premises if they become unruly or ejects them by force if necessary.

Observe, report and take action on all suspicious unusual situations and undesirables in the entertainment venue.

Responsible for enforcing Borgatas rules against associates and other persons, to protect the property.

Detailed report documentation of all incidents relating to the property, customers and associates.

Complies with all departmental and Company Policies.

Maintain a high level of personal integrity and moral conduct free of any questionable association.

Provide and create a customer experience that exceeds expectations and builds loyalty.

Practice teamwork and support fellow associates to create an energized, positive work atmosphere.

Practice excellent grooming and uniform standards.

Overall appearance is to be immaculate and nametags will be worn at all times.

Must display friendly, courteous and polite behavior at all times.

Complies with all New Jersey regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to second hand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment • Requires acute sense of smell and sound, ability to talk on and hear a two-way radio and telephone. • Visual Acuity correctable to 20/20, normal color, peripheral and night vision • Tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality • Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas • Must be able to work under adverse conditions, including overtime, evenings, weekends, holidays and testify in court on and off duty.

• High school diploma or equivalent required and must be at least 18 years of age • Previous Supervisor experience in hotel/casino or law enforcement experience necessary • Handcuff/Restraint Training, Liquor Liability Training required • Must be professional and have a well-groomed appearance • Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English • Must be able to handle all types of customer related situations • Good written and communication skills and the ability to investigate incidents and complete written reports as instructed • Must be fun, energetic, outgoing and personable • A valid New Jersey driver's license required

EMPLOYMENT IN THIS POSITION IS CONTIGENT UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF A MEDICAL EXAMINATION AND PHYSICAL CAPACITY PROFILE TEST.
