Role Summary/Purpose 
The Security Coordinator acts as the security manager responsible for the identification, development and implementation of the General Electric Company’s international security and crisis management strategies and programs in a particular Region/Subregion (Russia/CIS). The incumbent supports the RegioSD in relations with GGO and Business leaders in the Region, Corporate Security and GE Security community in other regions to ensure there is a comprehensive coordinated security effort across GE.
Essential Responsibilities Responsibilities:Physical Security
o Technical security systems management: coordination of planning, installation, programming, commissioning, maintenance and development of security systems across the Region
o Implement GE Physical Security Standards, Visitor management policies and other physical security rules
o Outline strategy for security systems development and modernization across the Region
o Manpower guard management
o Work as a member of Security Systems Center of Excellence (Corporate Security led program)

Security Room operations management
o Monitor security systems at GE Moscow office, alarm notification response, reports generating and support of investigations
o GE Badging and Identification guidelines implementation
o Badging consumables procurement, building the reliable supply chains

o Take lead on monthly inventory audit of ID badges

Security of GE events
o Security support of VIP visits
o Security support of GE corporate projects (Olympic and Paralympic Games) and local corporate events

Security support of GE sites and JVs
o Take lead on maintaining a complete databank of GE sites
o Security support of GE sites (risk assessment and mitigation, SSL management)
o Guide site security infrastructure development
o Security support of M&A (GE security impact assessment and mitigation plans)
o Cooperate with JV partners on security issues

T&L security
o Monitor Travel Advisory System (TAS) and review/approve TAS workflows on behalf of RSD and pull out TAS reports
o Alert employees and travelers of any intelligence that may affect their safety
o 24×7 support and guidance of EEs on travel
o Whenever required, make calls to the employees and travelers in case of emergency
o Emergency Notification System development and implementation
o Update country security profiles
o Update security approved hotels list
o Prepare and distribute security alerts

Security analysis
o Upon the advice of RSD prepare essential country-wise & region-wide analysis on prevailing risks and security concerns providing a complete risk & security management picture
o Collect security related information and prepare reference on particular projects
o Provide RSD with situational awareness that includes episodes and trends in political, social, environmental spheres with possible impact on GE and its EEs, including terrorism, civil unrest, riots and kidnappings

ER/CM/BC planning
o Security risk assessment in the Region
o Emergency Response, Crisis Management, Business Continuity planning both on the Regional and site level
o Evacuation planning
o Global BCP standards (GMARs) implementation
o Crisis management and catastrophic drills

Security awareness promotion
o Conduct trainings on various security issues for EEs, Site security leaders
o Serve a GE Security Ambassador in the Region (participate in a respective Colab community)
o Support GE Security Awareness Week and other corporate security programs in the Region

IT-Security
o IP Council participation and support
o Cooperation with IT-security leader, DLP measures and investigations
o EE exit process support

Support functions
o Manage the security vendor relations: prepare the scope of works, search and select, contract and conduct accounting; control security costs, provide accurate information to RSD as and when necessary
o Search for best practices and new ideas that adds value to Security in the Region, including cooperation with security teams in the other Regions
o Collaborate with law-enforcement and other external agencies (Overseas Security Advisory Council, AmCham) on security issues
o Coordinate with ROCs in London (EMEA) and Dubai (MENAT), prepare call trees
o Interact with GE HQ on security issues, provide alignment of local security operations with GE standards
o Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports upon the request of RSD
o Gensuite management

 Qualifications/Requirements 
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in related fields)
• Minimum 2 years experience in law enforcement, security or intelligence for governmental agencies or major multinational corporations.
