Executive Protection Officer - Position Description
Provide for the safety and personal security of the Principal and his immediate family, and other Company executives as situations warrant and as directed
Travel with the Principal as needed often on short notice including extended worldwide travel
Follow operation plans and handle trip requirements as directed by Corporate Security Managers
Be able to provide emergency first aid/CPR if needed, and have certification in each
Mitigate threats and vulnerabilities via proactive means, site visits, and pre planning security of events
Perform vehicle transportation functions as necessary and maintain the executive transportation vehicle to include the mandatory equipment (road emergency kit, medical/trauma kit, defibrillator, etc.)
Maintain proficiency in relevant protective services training

REQUIREMENTS
At least ten years of law enforcement experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity
Able to legally possess a firearm in NY State
Prior executive driving experience & training is preferred (either in the public or private sector)
Ability to work long hours including weekends
A competent knowledge of local roadways
Ability to travel with the executive and maintain a current passport
Capable of independent thinking and able to communicate with all levels of guests and employees
Ability to be discreet and maintain a high level of confidence
Performs all other job related duties as requested
