Executive Protection Professional Needed for Corporate Client - Level IV/PPO

Job Summary
Assist the Manager of Security Operations and Protective Services to protect all bank property such as buildings, equipment and premises. Assist as necessary with site security surveys and officer audits for corporate facilities. Assists as necessary, with the protection of bank employees and assets during events and executive protection. A good candidate will have executive protection experience strong interpersonal and customer service skills as well as some business experience.

Responsibilities/Requirments
Physical Security

Assist Security Operations Manager with corporate security special projects as necessary. Conduct and assist with annual corporate building risk surveys and officers audits. Develop corrective actions to upgrade the physical posture of the location surveyed and provide these corrective actions to Security Operations Manager.Protective Services:

Provide for the safety and personal security of the BBVA Compass executives located in our Houston Tower offices.
MUST HAVE A LEVEL IV/PPO Certificate in the State of Texas
Travel with executives as needed on short notice.
Be able to provide emergency first aid/CPR/AED if needed.
Mitigate threats and vulnerabilities via investigation, proactive means, site visits, and pre planning security at events.
Perform vehicle transportation functions as necessary and maintain the executive transportation vehicle to include the mandatory equipment (road emergency kit, medical/trauma kit, defibrillator, etc.)
Maintain proficiency in relevant protective services training, as required by Executive Director Protective Services.
Maintain proficiency in defense tactics and physical fitness
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodical, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Professional appearance and demeanor
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
Maintain flexible schedule and on-call hours as needed.
Performs all other job related duties as assigned.
Help the security department foster good relationships and promote corporate responsibility among all lines of business during special events. Must be able to articulate in a competent & professional manner with various lines of businesses regarding security related matters.Assist Security Operations Manager with the BBVA Compass Executive Protection Program. Prepare reports as requested by Security Operations Manager.Competencies
Cursory knowledge of UCC and Bank Financial Regulations including the Bank Protection Act
Basic knowledge of Physical Security guidelines and the ability to implement those guidelines as directed by Management across the Physical Security footprint
Basic knowledge of various security platforms including but not limited to recording devices, video management, analog and digital cameras, alarm systems, access control systems, etc…
Skilled in a variety of PC software applications (word, excel, power point)
Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Speak, read, and write English competently
Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
Military experience is preferred but not required
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Good visual acuity
Be able to communicate in an effective manner with various lines of business to include Executives of the company
Ability to accomplish tasks in a timely manner meeting assigned deadlines
Attention to detail
MUST have experience securing business professionals

Education/Training/Certification
Bachelors degree in security or related field is preferred
Previous Executive Protection training and/or work experience
2-4 years experience in corporate security or related security field including law enforcement and or militaryHigh school diploma required
