Job description: 
Providing appropriate security measures for the companys executives within the UK MEA Region both at their resident location and when travelling.
Working closely with executive personal assistants and other support areas such as conference & events, human resources and legal.
Develop travel advisories for senior executives when travelling overseas, and where necessary, recommend and implement security measures to mitigate risks for company executives travelling in high and extreme risk countries.
Support where appropriate the regional Sec Ops team in the provision of global travel risk advisory to company travellers within the region.
Oversee and risk assess company corporate events within region and, where necessary,implement agreed security measures to mitigate risk.
Carry out security surveys of residences and offices of executives, where in scope, and make recommendations to address security weaknesses, and project manage delivery of mitigation measures where appropriate.
Advise where necessary on UK criminal legislation and court procedures.
Develop and train outsourced executive protection officers currently contracted to the company,according to current company policies and standards.
Manage electronic counter measures services throughout the London campus and overseas wherenecessary, according to current company policies and standards.
Ensure vendors in scope are appropriately vetted, training and routinely measured.
Ensure all EEP staff (including drivers) are trained to documented standard.
Conduct liaison with Police and other Government Agencies
Maintain detailed Management Information (MIS) to justify, measure and support the Regions.


Candidate profile: 

The successful candidate will be subject to extensive personal vetting process including DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) and financial checks, must have a clean driving license with no outstanding criminal record.
In depth experience in executive & event protection - financial institution preferred.
Operational planning and risk management skills are of paramount importance.
Proven experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and thought leader in key operational risk
Or security disciplines.
Degree level education in a relevant subject (risk management) preferred.
Military or police experience at a senior management level preferred.
Corporate security management in large global organizations preferred.
Awareness of global travel risk and associated security advisories.
Excellent network in the security sector.
Connections with Government and Law Enforcement preferred.
Good experience of relevant vendor management and contacts within the security vendor community.
Be able to evidence successful management of multiple projects simultaneously.
Successful track record in a matrix organization, encompassing functional and geographic
diversity.
Portray an appropriate corporate image to represent the professional reputation of the company, being able to meet with executives with a highly polished image.
Excellent written and presentation skills; strong analytical ability with robust decision making skills.
Excellent team management with the ability to manage remote teams.
Native English speaker, with awareness of cultural differences globally.
Available and willing to operate 24x7; with a willingness and ability to travel.
