Role Overview:


The role exists to assist in the provision of a secure environment for both the business and residential lifestyles of Executives, whereby they are able to maintain their business and personal lives in as normal a way as possible, mitigating any perceived threat. In addition, this role provides security protective measures and advice to personnel involved in the planning and execution of internal and external events and conferences, where the attendance, either in number or rank, could present a concentrated risk to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

In the Office Environment - This list is not exhaustive
Monitoring the internal events calendar, in liaison with any events teams and / or main Business lines, to ensure that all events likely to involve the attendance of either members of the Management board or, 10 or more Directors or Senior Managers, are adequately advised on their security requirements according to the risk level, assigned by any threat analysis, and the wishes of the executive or business line.
The coalition and analysis of the Management board weekly itineraries, and any events, inputting such accumulated information in to a threat analysis tool / application, to allow for protective measures to be assigned which mitigates any perceived risk.
The collation and input of any data for travelers to HIGH or EXTREME risk rated Countries.
To monitor and maintain up to date security travel reports in line with the requirements of any travel policy and procedures.
The liaison with other work streams to ensure that any / all information is collated at the earliest opportunity, in order to analyse any adverse situations that may affect the protective measures applied to Executives.
Monitor and maintain any protocols regarding the Technical Security Counter Measures (TSCM) audit, employed within the company
Liaison with Executive Personal Assistants with regard to EEP events and Meetings.
Attend Customer, Global, Regional, and local Meetings where necessary.
Any other duties deemed necessary within the Office environment by the EEP or FSG Senior Management team on the Account

In the Operational Environment - This list is not exhaustive
The creation of such documentation as deemed necessary, using approved templates, for the completion of an event, within the guidelines set down by Protection SLA provisions.
The collation and input within Operational documents, and where appropriate, the physical completion of all surveys and reconnaissance required for the completion of any Operational documentation.
The completion and submission of the Operational documents to the relevant authorities, for authorization and approval.
The application of the "on the ground" operation, according to the "approved" Event Operational Document and within current legislation and guidelines directed by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) and customer related policies.
The completion of Close Protection duties across any designated region, in accordance with the approved Operational documentation.
The completion of any reports and management tools or applications, necessary to ensure that any future events and operations are completed efficiently.
Any other duties deemed necessary within the Operational environment by the EEP or FSG Senior Management team on the Account

Candidate Profile:
Minimum 5 years security industry experience
Preferably 2 years Supervisory / Management experience
Experience of working directly with Senior Managers / Directors
Experience in the Security organization and operation of external functions / conferences
Full UK Driving Licence (Clean)
SIA "Frontline" Security Officer induction and training
SIA Close Protection Officer Licence
Accredited additional security qualification i.e. minimum NVQ Level 2 - Security Guarding practises
Within two years of accepting appointment, NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Security Management
Minimum First Aid at Work and Defibrillator certified
Within two years of accepting appointment, FPOSi accredited
IT Literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Package (Essential)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (Essential)
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload
Must be able to work in a pressurised environment and manage large workloads.
Excellent telephone etiquette and personable
Ability to treat all staff and visitors in a confident and professional manner
Ability to compile compliance reports & access reports for the client

Package:
Pay Rate: £40,000 per annum
Shift: Monday - Friday (40)
Hours: 0900 - 1700 (with flexibility)
