Responsibilities 
This position, Director-Global Security-Americas, reports to the Senior Director-Global Security, who is the Chief Security Officer (CSO) of the company. The role will collaborate with the CSO and the Director-Global Security- Europe Middle East Africa (EMEA) & (Asia Pacific) APAC regions to deliver excellence in the portfolio of personnel security, site security, and asset and product protection. The successful candidate will have a global view, experience interacting with a diverse workforce, and a commitment to strategy-based leadership of a security organization.
Demonstrate leadership principles of connecting with people, being determined, and driving continuous improvement
Provide direct supervision of team members based in Indianapolis who perform duties in the Americas region, which includes a security operations team and contract guard force deployed at two major corporate headquarters campuses
Supervise the Latin America security manager based in Indianapolis
Develop and apply security standards through oversight of site security reviews, approval of review reports, and consultation with security liaisons in business units, offices and sites in the region
Identify and manage security threats to people, physical assets, and business operations
Establish and maintain productive relationships with internal partners in Human Resources; Legal; Facilities Management; Health, Safety and Environment; and others
Establish and maintain productive relationships with contracted private investigators and law enforcement agencies

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
7+years of experience in a federal, state or local law enforcement agency which included an assignment of not less than one cumulative year of criminal investigations, national security investigations, or intelligence collection and analysis experience
3+ years of experience in a corporate security function in a multi-national company, which included personnel security, physical site security, and asset and product protection responsibilities
2+ years of experience in a supervisory or team leader role, responsibilities of which included personnel management and operations management

Graduate degree
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve organizational goals and overcome challenges
Demonstrated highly effective interpersonal abilities and verbal and written communications skills
Demonstrated success in managing critical incidents and resolving crisis situations
Experience in international investigations or business operations
Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and (Physical Security Professional (PSP) certifications
Specialized training and experience in physical security design, site security assessments, executive protection, and special event security planning and execution
Experience in the development and application of enterprise-level security policies, procedures and standards
Demonstrated knowledge of the intelligence cycle
Experience in internal investigations
Experience in the discipline of information security

Additional Information
Relocation will be available for this position
At times the candidate will be expected to work outside normal daytime work hours, on weekends, or on holidays.
Periodic domestic and international travel may be required (estimated 10%).
An individual contributor role will be expected on some occasions in executive protection assignments, site security reviews, and other duties.
