Primary Job Responsibilities:
The Leader of Protective Services will play a critical leadership role in PayPal’s Global Safety & Security organization. He or she will perform advanced-level and managerial professional security work by leading all “at-risk personnel” and protective security operations to include executive protection programs, workplace violence assessments, Global Security Operation Center (GSOC) operations, and threat / intelligence management. This leader will provide major input to the development of the annual plan, and providing training, coaching and supervision to internal staff.

Job Requirements:
Provide strategic management, leadership, and team-building to Global Safety & Security Protective Services teams. Review and assign emergent issues, set priorities in accordance with the Company’s and departments strategic imperatives, and drive team performance to achieve the desired results
Manage programs providing for the physical protection of associates and assets through the monitoring of physical security systems to include the enterprise physical access control system, enterprise CCTV system, alarm monitoring systems and ensuring appropriate, effective and efficient response/escalation protocols are in place
Develop, enhance and lead centralized support services for management of specialized security programs (e.g. workplace violence prevention and investigations)
Lead manager level employees through the issues intake triage process for reported security matters ensuring all events that can be centrally managed are and that dispatch rates to field operations remain within set parameters. Triage crisis management incidents as required and activate response protocols.
Manage the physical security threat intelligence and executive protection professionals to ensure threats are effectively identified and proactively mitigated through appropriate response protocols
