This is a full-time permanent (direct) hire position. The role is to be the personal protection specialist to a principal, a very active individual who travels extensively around the globe, including areas less travelled in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Latin America. The PPS will be on the road for extended periods of time, work long days, and may live in one of the principals residences during lengthy assignments. The position is based out of London where the principal has a residence. The principal interacts regularly with heads of state and high level persons throughout the world. Therefore, a high degree of sophistication is required and an understanding of different cultures and customs ispreferred. The individual will also work with subcontractors in local regions and must be able to communicate and manage these individuals effectively. The personal protection specialist will be responsible for emergency preparedness and safety of the principal.

He/she must be physically fit and have or will obtain advanced CPR training. This is a salaried position with robust health and benefits package. When the principal is not in London, the personal protection specialist will be afforded ample time off tocompensate for the heavy travel schedule.
Degree educated preferred
High degree of cultural awareness - deep understanding of different cultures around the world.
Executive protection experience/training (in the government, military or corporate setting)
International experience such as extensive global travel, military service, overseas residence, global contacts, etc.
Passport ability to perform extensive international and domestic travel
Ability to standfor long stretches of time
First Aid/CPR/AED Certification a plus
Foreign language a plus
