Summary of Primary Job Responsibilities
Reporting into the Asia Pacific Security Organization, the Manager Global Security Command & Monitoring Center performs a critical role in supporting security & safety operations up to and including Physical Access Control and Management, CCTV Surveillance, maintenance of Physical Security Systems and liaison with internal stakeholders and external Organizations, Agencies and Network. The incumbent is responsible for providing leadership; operational and tactical direction to the Global Security Command & Monitoring Center operations and in ensuring superior response and reconciliation of Physical Security Systems generated actionable information as well as actionable intelligence information provided by external contacts and resources across the Company.


SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (not limited to)
To lead and manage the Global Security Command & Monitoring Center and ensure a consistent, high-quality response to Physical Security Systems generated actionable reports, thereby ensuring that all security, environmental and FDAS alerts and alarms are appropriately managed, responded and coordinated to Site Physical Security Operations and reconciled in an auditable manner.

Ensuring effective management, leadership and development of all GSCMC analysts in order to provide continuous improvement to all Physical Security systems, while ensuring that the services are delivered consistently and in accordance with the Global Security Policies and Procedures.

To provide strategic leadership to the GSCMC function and ensure continuous improvement of the function

Maintain close relations with all internal & external resources and stakeholders including, but not limited to Physical Security Operations (Guardforce) personnel, Global Security leadership, Corporate Real Estate and Facilities team to leverage technology and assets to streamline the function

To ensure effective coordination and response to all alarm activations, ensuring that a predetermined course of action exists to quickly remedy any emergency situations and that any further response requirements are adequately escalated

To assist and support the Global Security Leadership in the delivery of operational requirements and execute administrative support and other duties as may be required.

Demonstrated experience with matrix organizational structure and influencing outcomes across disparate teams

Strong negotiation skills to enable a pragmatic agreement with compliance and audit teams to not overburden the business when it is not completely necessary

Demonstrated experience working in a complex global environment and being a security change agent in order to drive improved security controls and operations.

Consults with senior leadership for emerging technologies and trends in long-range company planning concerning new or projected areas of technological research and advancements. Coordinates with internal and external (vendors) to negotiate and place security-related orders for services.

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Criminology, Law, Military Science or Information Technology preferred
Philippines Society for Industrial Security (PSIS) CSP Certification required
Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification preferred
A second language would be an advantage


Experience Target

Minimum of five (5) years experience in Physical Security Operations with core competency in Physical Security Systems Global/Centralized deployment and Operations

Extensive experience working with Security vendors negotiating rates, contracts, and service level agreements

Experience in deploying Avigilon Access Control System or Lenel Access Control System (Physical Access Control)

Experience in Avigilon Video Management System or Milestone Video Management System

Knowledge of emergency response planning & execution, crisis management, disaster recovery operations and business continuity awareness. In addition, knowledge of the conduct of investigations, including interview techniques, reporting, collection of evidence and legal requirements

A minimum of 3 years experience government, private sector, police or military security apparatus with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position within a similar operating environment

Excellent communication, analytical, and writing skills with the ability to participate in and lead team based projects

Preference for experience in emergency services, command center/control room operations or professional safety services in a corporate, production or manufacturing environment

Prior call center experience is highly advantageous given the specialized security environment that will be managed

An intelligent, articulate and capable leader is able to communicate safety and security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff

Must work well in a dynamic team that is geographically dispersed.

Ingenuity, creativity, motivation, and self starter attitude required.

People management skills and proven experience leading diverse teams both on and off shore.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Provides input in the development of operating and capital budgets.

Understanding of ISO27001 processes and practices.
