Description

Private Residence seeks an experienced, on call 24/7 Chauffeur who will also provide Executive Protection services to ensure the safety of the family. The successful candidate will have previous NYPD experience and must be familiar with all New York area roads and airports, including private airports. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Safely driving the family to and from general destinations, business appointments or meetings, secondary residences, airports and heliports, social events and engagements, etc.
Taking preemptive security measures and remaining alert at all times
Maintaining vehicle for guest readiness at all times; ensure detailing, cleanliness and upkeep at all times
Care and maintenance of vehicle; includes gassing up car, servicing, inspections, and insurance requirements
Assisting with heavy lifting
Traveling with family to their Hamptons residence
Running errands and fulfill special requests as needed
Remaining on-call 24/7 as needed


This is a full-time position with an alternating weekly schedule. The successful candidate will rotate schedules between other chauffeurs and will work 6 days total out of every 14 days (90 total hours worked every 14 days).

Week 1 will be Friday and Monday

Week 2 be Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday

The candidate will be expected to work long hours with a 6:00am start time and will end their shift anywhere between 9:00pm and 12:00am. Salary is generous but DOE. This position also includes a generous benefits package, 401k, and the potential to earn a discretionary annual bonus.

Requirements
Former experience as NYPD Officer
License to Carry Arms
Minimum of 3 years of experience driving Private Families
Excellent references from both current and previous employers
Certification in Executive Protection a plus
CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification a plus
Excellent knowledge of New York City, Tri-State area and Hamptons, including private airports and heliports
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Comfortable with technology; includes computer research, smartphones, emails, etc.
Comfortable working in environment with children and pets
Ability to work independently and part of a team;
Utmost sense of discretion and confidentiality
Professional, polished, and poised at all times
Timely and detail-oriented
Flexibility with hours and scheduling; available to work on short notice, weekends and overtime as well as to work long hours, minimum 12 to 15 hour days
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; experience managing luxury vehicles
Valid passport, and availability for domestic or international travel as necessary
US work authorization
