• The Corporate Security regional team protect and secure MasterCard’s physical and technical assets
• The Corporate Security regional team supports the regional business units in many different roles and functions
• The candidate will act as the Corporate Security liaison for MasterCard London Canary Wharf office and the UK
• The candidate will drive compliance to Corporate Security policies and procedures for the London and UK office, and as required, the wider Europe region.
• Manage and investigate security events / incidents and submit incident reports as needed.

• Do you have a working knowledge and exposure to physical security, event security, and crisis management in a corporate environment? Please give examples of this.
• Do you have experience with the military or in law enforcement?
• Are you able to travel within Europe? Do you have any restrictions or reservations about traveling for the role?

Role

• Perform weekly and annual security and life safety risk assessments and competent to conduct and coordinate security awareness training for local staff.
• Provide security systems technical support as directed.
• Manage and investigate security events / incidents and submit incident reports as needed.
• Act as a liaison for local contacts such as building management and law enforcement agencies, attend meetings with peer groups in Canary Wharf
• Deliver security briefings to employees and senior management when requested.
• Provide weekly analysis and local perspective to regional security lead regarding political, national security and terrorism issues of concern.

• Experienced in corporate security or military/law enforcement experience
• CPP and first aid training desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Power Point and XL.
• Must be an articulate and persuasive with excellent judgment, diplomacy, decision-making, investigatory, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of security protection best practices.
• Technology savvy: Possess or capable of learning a wide range of security technology skills.

• Fluent in English. Additional language skills are highly desirable
• Experienced in Security System installation management and programming desirable.
• CPP and first aid training desirable.
