Position Summary:  
Responsible for development, communication, and service needs for our client companies and for retaining large, complex accounts through relationship management.

General Information:
This position is a salaried, exempt and full-time position.
This position will report to the EVP, Executive Protection Services Practice (EPS) Leader.
The EPS team is located primarily in San Francisco; this position will support ABD's development and servicing of business in Seattle and the Northwest but will also require supporting the team in San Francisco.

ESSENTIAL TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following to develop solutions that fit client needs, challenges and goals. Others may be assigned.


Manage client relationships and develop team service strategy, plan and processes to meet client needs. Provide client advocacy as primary point of contact.
Work with 30+ insurance carriers to put together Directors and Officers (D&O) and related management liability programs for client companies.


Negotiate the broadest coverage provisions for any given policy form.


Put together various presentations for client meetings.


Prepare renewal strategy presentations, outlining the current state of the market, providing client risk profile from an underwriting perspective, including strategies to prepare for the renewal, summarizing benchmark data to help with limits purchasing decision, and outlining a timeline for upcoming renewals.


Prepare final presentations which outline renewal options available to the client, summarizing coverage enhancements negotiated in the policy forms, and reviewing benchmark data for limits purchasing decision.


Attend client meetings to discuss renewal strategy, underwriting and final proposals.
Work with management, including EPS practice leader, producers and other team members to identify, develop, pursue and close new business opportunities to help ABD achieve growth goals.


Perform coverage review of competitors' placements for prospecting new business.


Cultivate relationships with new customers and enhance relationships with existing clients for new business or product opportunities. Create cross-selling opportunities by recommending other company services and/or additional policies.


Keep abreast of changing market, review new or evolving policies or products and present to clients as appropriate.


Perform other special projects as assigned.
