Primary Purpose
Responsible for conducting risk assessments, organizing and leading security details for Daimler events throughout NAFTA including protection of personnel, sites, products and prototypes. Conduct a variety of investigations into violations of company policy and/or criminal/civil law on behalf of Corporate Security in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America. Responsible for gathering, analyzing and processing documentary evidence, interviewing witnesses to gain relevant information, and reporting investigation findings through clear, concise and detailed reports. Assist in security policy and procedurally development and security performance metrics.

*Position can be located in Farmington Hills, MI or Fort Mill, SC

Job Deliverables




Task Description / Performance Expectations Time %
Develop work plans to include investigative steps, relevant documentation required, schedule and necessary resources. Identify and work with the appropriate management representatives across business units and ensure compliance with Daimler and Corporate Security investigative policies and procedures. Gather, analyze and process documentary evidence; Conduct and document interviews with witnesses to gain relevant information; Document the investigative process and findings from each step. Evaluate the results of investigations and identify recommendations for actions to reduce risk to the business. Prepare clear and concise reports in a timely fashion. Monitor and report the implementation of recommendations. Cooperate and assist authorities throughout NAFTA and abroad as requested. 40
Lead security details for Daimler events such as auto shows, dealer meetings, car clinics, etc. Conduct risk assessments, identify needed resources, complete advance and crisis planning, protect prototypes and oversee vendors. Be on site and available to the clients as needed. Work with business unit managers and Corporate Security colleagues to ensure compliance with Daimler policies and procedures. 20
Lead and organize personal/executive protection details for Daimler employees participating in events on behalf of the company. Work in conjunction with Corporate Security and business unit colleagues to ensure operations are smooth and in accordance with established procedures. 20
Assist in the development of security policies and procedures for the global Daimler organization. Develop quantitative measurements for security operations and develop statistical analysis to enable optimization 10
Participate in additional projects relevant to Security Services as defined. 10

Education:

Bachelor's degree required:
Business Administration
Any major

License or Certifications:

Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Protection Professional (CPP) Strongly Preferred


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Overall work experience of 6 years required in:
Business- general (2 yrs.)

Additional knowledge required:

Investigations (3 Years) Spanish and/or German Language skills a plus
