Salary: Circa £45k Per Annum + Bonus performance dependant
Level 3 certificate in Close Protection

Job description
To build, develop, deliver and manage physical and technical security services to new clients in the Greater London region, the South East of the UK and across the M4 corridor. Dovetail into the existing infrastructure and advise on a company-wide strategy for business development within the security sector.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will be a seasoned individual that has a sound functional and managerial understanding of the security industry, in particular within the London Market, be familiar with the management of man guarding security operations and have a firm understanding of executive and High Network security management protocols. The candidate will have a proven track record in the management of security operations, a good understanding of HRM protocols, including TUPE regulations, H&S at work legislation, operational financial management sound communication skills and be an effective writer. They will need to be both a competent leader and an effective team player.

The candidate will need to be resident within daily commutable distance to the designated Central London office and be prepared to travel to dispersed sites as dictated under the delivery and management requirements for security projects

Candidate profile: 
All business operations in and around Greater London, the South East and the M4 Corridor
The set up of a new business office in Central London
Identify new opportunities and present strategy options in their pursuit
Follow up on opportunities presented by the existing management team
Manage and coordinate security projects
Build a team commensurate with project requirements
Establish a network of key personalities as Full/Part time employees or sub contractors
The quality management and conduct of all personnel assigned to support BDS projects
Liaise with clients, their managers and their staff as part of functional security delivery
The drafting of proposals in response to tender opportunities, including cost frameworks
The risk management function of the business area
Personnel welfare, health and safety and HRM oversight on operational sites and throughout the course of project working activities
Staff development and training management

Military or Police service experience

Level 3 certificate in Close Protection
Licensed to SIA and CP standard
Ability to conduct security surveys
Ability to produce risk assessments
Ability to produce comprehensive security plans
An understanding of ISO/IEC 27002
Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Windows or IOS equivalent)
Minimum of 5 years experience as a security Manager
Proven track record in the man guarding security sector

BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Security Management
Affiliated to a recognised security body (BSI/ASIS)
First Aid at Work FPOS Intermediate award
Good driving skills with a maximum of 3 penalty points
