Description

The Manager of Protective Services develops and implements security strategy specific to protecting Phillips 66 personnel and other individuals designated as being within the scope of the Phillips 66 Executive Protection Standard and has overall responsibility for the global Executive Protection program. The Manager must successfully execute this program in coordination with the business demands of the executives, staff, and event management personnel, in accordance with the overall Group Security strategic plan and the Phillips 66 Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities may include :

Developing and overseeing Executive Protection for Senior Leadership
Maintaining visibility of executive calendars within the scope of the Executive Protection Standard for major events including Board of Directors meetings, International meetings, leadership team meetings and sponsorship events.

Identifying scheduled travel and events that may require dedicated executive protection and security resources.
Coordinating with executive assistants and others to determine appropriate security while identifying and adjusting to changes in executive schedules.
Identifying and deploying resources for all executive protective missions based upon results of risk assessments.
Managing the completion of formal written risk assessments in relation to potential executive protection missions and events
Managing the programs that collects, analyzes and disseminates information to Phillips 66 team members that are traveling and need to be aware of threat or inherent risk scenarios
Coordinating with internal and external partners to collect and broadcast intelligence information to inform of decisions across the enterprise.
Maintaining the relationship with trusted executive protection contractors as the single point of accountability.
Assuring that executive protection missions are being completed in conformance with Phillips 66 Code of Conduct, the Group Security Executive Protection Standard, and any contractual agreements.
Assuring the strength of the program by managing the residential security program for executives within the scope of the EP Standard such as in-country programs, barriers placements and security technology.
Identifying and coordinating training opportunities for the Global Security Network and related training opportunities for executives and their families.
Works laterally across and with company security resources to anticipate the needs, plan the response and execute critical actions to ensure the security and safety of all Phillips 66 team members.
Qualifications

Basic/Required :

Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
5 or more years of experience reviewing intelligence summaries, issuing priority intelligence requirements, analyzing intelligence reports in order to prepare and develop the response plans for the protective services mission.
5 or more years of experience working within a commercial setting or Police, Military, Security Services, or other law enforcement agencies in physical security, protective services (people protection), intelligence collection, analysis and dissemination and compliance or regulatory disciplines.
2 or more years of experience communicating with senior management, business clients, colleagues, and external parties.
Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time.


Preferred :

10 or more years of experience working within a commercial setting or Police, Military, Security Services, or other law enforcement agencies in physical security, protective services (people protection), intelligence collection, analysis and dissemination and compliance or regulatory disciplines.
2 or more years of experience as a subject matter expert in the field of executive protection managing executive protection programs.
2 or more years of experience working as a supervisor.
Working knowledge dignitary/executive protection training.
Working knowledge of different cultures or international exposure.
Professional security certifications, e.g., certified Protection Professional (CPP) by the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS).
