Job Summary: 
The Executive Protection Investigations Agent will plan, prepare for, and conduct Client investigations and/or executive protection (armed or unarmed).

Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance and excellence.
Provide executive protection for high profile events, estates and individuals.
Conduct advances and/or security assessments of facilities and events.
Conduct quality investigations in accordance with budgetary requirements and agreed upon deadlines to ensure client satisfaction and retention with minimal supervision.
Submit investigative reports to ensure accuracy, investigative sufficiency and professional quality; edits and corrects as necessary.
Review reports of Associate Investigators as assigned for specific investigations.
Maintain and submits accurate time and expense records in accordance with company guidelines.
Brief appropriate supervisory/management personnel on a consistent and timely basis as to the status of each investigation.
Participate in designated training sessions/seminars and reviews company training materials to maintain professional competencies and ensure high quality investigations.
Maintain assigned equipment; maintains driver license, auto insurance, and serviceable vehicle, etc.
All other duties, as assigned.Minimum Hiring Standards: Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., email, cell phone).
Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
Must be at least 21 years of age to carry a firearm.
Must have permit to carry a firearm.Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED with five years of executive protection experience and/or military and law enforcement experience. Current California Guard Card and Exposed Weapons Permit are required. CCW or HR218, preferred.

Competencies (As Demonstrated Through Experience, Training, and/or Testing):
Current CA Guard Card and Exposed Weapons Permit.
CPR/First Aid and AEC certificate and/or EMT.
Current CCW or HR218, preferred.
Must be able to meet any federal, state, or municipal licensing requirements.
Must be able to work under adverse conditions with little or no supervision.
Must possess keen attention to detail.
Able to solve complex problems and carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision.
Able to organize workload for effective implementation.
Able to write detailed, accurate complex investigative/business correspondence and present information in one-on-one and group situations.

Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection survey.
Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
Exposure to sensitive and confidential information.
May perform job both indoors and outdoors, including industrial and/or manufacturing environments, construction sites, recreation venues, rural and urban street settings, etc., in widely varying weather conditions.
Regular computer usage.
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or customers.
Manual dexterity required for occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment.
Close and distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
Travel, as required.
