Job Summary:
The Full-Time Event Security Team Lead is tasked with establishing event safety guidelines and procedures, enforcing security measures, responding to emergencies and managing staff.
Duties & Qualifications:
· Must possess excellent verbal communication
· Will be required to work various shifts, requiring a great deal of standing for long hours.
· Responsible for managing any potential crowd control issues, discovering problems before they occur
· Must have a command presence and very strong leadership skills
· Must regulate & control access points to sensitive areas throughout the event location
· Responsible for credentialing/vetting all event attendees
· Ability to quickly respond to any potential crowd control issues, break up fights, provide escorts of unruly attendees when ejections are warranted
· Must properly screen patrons during ingress through the use of metal arches, bag searches, & hand wanding techniques
· Ability to deal with hostile, intoxicated patrons in the safest way possible
· Must have excellent written communication skills. Will be required write accurate detailed reports which could later be used for criminal/civil litigation proceedings
· Write or review security-related documents, such as tactical or strategic initiatives.
· Professional demeanor, ability to deal with all patrons with the upmost respect
· Train subordinate security professionals or other organization members in security rules and procedures
· Coordinate security operations or activities with public law enforcement, fire and other agencies
· Assist in emergency management and contingency planning
Must Haves:
A minimum of CPR/First Aid/AED for all ages is required
Possess a valid and current driver license
Possess a BSIS Guard Card
At least 4 years of recent event security experience
Project Management experience
Global travel required
Event security team lead and/or management experience highly preferred
Compensation:
$80,000 - $90,000 DOE + Industry Leading Benefits
