Location: EU Delegation Embassy, Mogadishu, Somalia
We are seeking suitably qualified, experienced FEMALE candidates due to an occupational requirement to support female clients in their day to day activities.
Hiring Criteria
Must hold an EU passport
Minimum 5 years military or police experience or 8 years in a civilian security organisation
Specific CPO experience
Must hold in date FPOSi or MIRA qualification
Attended and passed a recognized Close Protection course
Possess in date frontline SIA License or country equivalent
Hold a driving license at category B (UK car license) or above
English proficiency (written and oral): all CPOs must be literate in English to the extent of reading and understanding printed regulations, detailed written orders, training instructions and materials. They must be capable of communicating and understanding oral English
Excellent interpersonal skills; flexible, discreet, diplomatic
Physically able to perform all general duties, functions and activities
Familiar with road navigation and GPS use
Job Duties
Provide armed escort and/or close protection activities to EU Delegation Mission staff throughout Somalia
Provide Close Protection to visitors as required and tasked by the ISM
Perform driving duties in B6 and soft skin vehicles as required
