Protective Services Specialist

This position is responsible for a variety of tasks to include Campus Security & Safety Services at Stanley Security NA Headquarters and Executive Operations. The SBD Asset Protection team provides security / safety / executive operations / investigative related oversight and guidance to SBD business units. This position reports into the Corporate Security & Safety Services Manager and has no direct reports. This position will work with various Executive employees, Asset Protection professionals, local law enforcement and outside consultants as, and if required. The primary objective of this position is to safeguard Stanley Security Fishers, Indiana facilities / grounds, executive employees and be a First Responder in a crisis situation. This position may require some travel, working non-business hours and potentially weekends

Major Focus
Security & Safety Services of the SS NA headquarters campus and other designated SBD locations in Indiana.
Monitoring CCTV, security and fire suppression systems.
Patrolling and securing areas inside and outside the facility.
Documenting security and safety related incidents.
HQ facility / grounds security system operations.
Executive office visitor escorts.
First Responder to crisis situations and ability to provide First Aid / CPR / AED.
Transportation / Driving / Security & Safety of SBD executive management (i.e. business trips, airport transportation and special functions). Conduct route surveys and assessments.
Safety service and executive protection of corporate principals in primarily domestic environments.
Conduct advance operations at venue sites (i.e. meeting locations, special functions).
Ensure safe and effective principal movement in a wide variety of environments.
Conduct residential security evaluations both in and out of state as well as regular risk/threat monitoring and assessment.
Operational and logistical coordination attributes are core duty requirements.
Interface with Human Resources, business leaders and third parties (i.e., consultants, local and government agencies).
Evaluate SBD executive operations / Safety Service function and improve process.


Education or Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Loss Prevention/Security related field or other significant related training or experience in security, law enforcement or executive protection.


Current certification as a Law Enforcement Officer or proof of separation in good standing from a law enforcement organization.


Formal training credentials in Executive Protection Operations by a recognized provider are essential to include Firearm Training / Skills, Self-Defense Tactics and Evasive Driving Techniques.


Accident avoidance and vehicle dynamics training with a good understanding of how time and distance works while in motion.


Extraordinary physical fitness is essential and proficiency in a martial art and / or other defensive skill is desirable.


CPR / AED / First Aid Training.


Strategic thinker to identify and minimize exposure to global emerging trends and threats.


Strong leadership skills including: effective oral and written communication, issue resolution, negotiation, motivating others, collaborative, team player, ability to deal with obstacles and partner with senior management to identify / solve problems.


Microsoft Office computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.


Demonstrated capability to travel worldwide and work through culture and language barriers.


Must be able to pass any required training or qualifications for licensing.


Have a valid driver's license, and clean driving history if driving a company-owned vehicle.
