Job Skills / Requirements
To execute safety and security objectives as outlined by The 5D Shield’s Policies & Procedures. Close Protection work detail includes working in the Denver/Metro and surrounding areas primarily with the possibility of work in Eagle and Summit counties. Work schedule is flexible and changes regularly with the addition of new contracts.
Job Duties may include (but are not limited to):
1. Protecting their clients from threats of distressing, intentional and unintentional harm including physical violence.
2. Premises surveillance such as hotels, restaurants and theatres.
3. Surveying the layout of venues, noting potential hazards and exposure to risks.
4. Accompanying the client on business and social trips.
5. Armed Guard Protection of client and client’s assets.
6. Working around Clients schedule, which can vary depending on the duration of the contract
7. Work at indoor and outdoor venues such as rallies, concerts, political meetings, conferences and premieres.
8. Excellent observation skills to spot potentially dangerous situations.
9. Confidence to react quickly using their own initiative.
10. The ability to work as part of a team.
11. The ability to remain calm when under pressure and surrounded by dangerous situations.
12. Discretion, respecting client confidentiality.

Qualification Requirements:
1. Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
2. Ability to perform job tasks in an extremely professional manner, while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
3. Good Physical fitness, vision and hearing.
4. Basic computer skills.
5. Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
6. Provide credible references and I-9 Employment Eligibility Documentation (legal eligibility to work in the U.S.).
7. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Knowledge of law related to security
