Job Description

Requirement for deployment on or around 2 February 2018.

Armed Close Protection Officer (CPO) to work in a Close Protection Operative and Security Driver within a team of armed EU national personnel charged with the protection of the EU representative to the West Bank & Gaza Strip, located within Tel Aviv.

Rotations are 9 weeks on 3 weeks off.

CPOs escort EU delegates to Gaza and to locations in the West Bank. They are frequently employed as drivers for EU Delegates rather than as CPOs as most areas are considered as safe.

Page Protection Services will provide free of charge accommodation and a daily allowance of 35 Euros is provided for meals. An allowance is provided for rotational flights.

Applicants would be welcome from across the European Union member states.

The following experience must be proven:
5 years military experience.
1 year commercial experience
Full EU driving licence
Must possess a clean criminal record certificate (CRB)
Must have completed a full Medical
Professional weapons qualification from an existing range/gun club (Glock 17 and M4)
Formal first aid qualification (FPOS(I) or MIRA) or equivalent.
Must have current EU or National Security Clearance

Candidates must undertake a full medical and provide details (within the last month) - Successful candidates at interview will be provided with the necessary medical form to complete.

Candidates MUST be under 182cm tall due to vehicle restrictions.
Candidates must be fluent in English (both writing and speaking) and computer literate.

Daily rate of 185 Euros whilst in country (payment is made every 45 days)

Daily subsistence rate of 35 Euros

Accommodation provided

Allowance provided to book own flights, after initial deployment, of 600 Euros for every rotation

Training courses for both B6 armoured vehicles can be undertaken in locations in both Europe and the UK. Also weapons training can be undertaken at ranges in Europe and there are some ranges in the UK (search google/yahoo) who can provide full bore shooting competency courses.

These certificates are required by the EU vetting process and all documentation is only submitted if the requirements needed above are met.

Qualifications

SIA CP License (UK Applicants) or equivalent Qualifications/Experience.
CP course completed (Certificate from course provider must be made available for verification)
Previous Military experience of least 5 years - essential
Commercial PSD experience
Must have a recent weapons competency certificate/qualification - essential

Operational Experience within a PSC environment in Iraq or Afghanistan - essential
Full EU national driving licence with Category C/C1/C+E qualifications
Armoured Vehicles (B6) driving competency/training certificate
European Union member state citizen.
