Protecting At-Risk Public Figure for a Major International Organization

We are seeking Close Protection Security Specialists with background in Law Enforcement (including Military Police). Ideal candidates possess overseas operational experience. Protectors will be required to advance locations and provide close protection for at-risk clients based in Washington, D.C. Mission includes overseas and domestic travel.

Best candidates have provided close protection for at-risk figures in numerous overseas locations. Most desirable candidates are also experienced in protecting senior DOD officials as members of Army or Marine CID, Air Force OSI, or Navy NCIS. Other desirable candidates have protected senior government officials as members of U.S. Secret Service, Department of State, other major federal departments and government agencies. State and Local law enforcement with close protection experience are also considered strong candidates for this position.



Required Qualifications

Law Enforcement (or Military Police) background is a must
Experienced in overseas travel
Willingness to live in the Washington, D.C. greater metropolitan area
Experienced in physical security and/or close protection, including managing logistics, advancing locations, and providing secure transportation
Professional and positive communication style
Ability to work independently in overseas locations
Drug and nicotine-free; associates are required to participate in ongoing drug and nicotine screenings for the duration of their employment at GDBA
Physically fit; candidates must meet GDBA’s physical readiness test requirements (see our website for details)
Pass  pre-employment background investigation


Responsibilities & Expectations
Provide close protection, secure transportation, and logistical support during overseas and domestic protection details
Disseminate information regarding security-related incidents
Coordinate contingency plans and emergency medical response
Maintain physical readiness to respond to an attack or hazard
Possess the physical endurance to stand for several hours without a break and provide protective coverage during physically taxing activities


Employee Benefits & Compensation

Base earnings of at least $70,000 plus Overtime and Per Diem stipend pay
Base earnings are determined by qualifications and ability
