Executive Protection Advisor

The Executive Protection Advisor position will be in Houston,TX US.

Job Role Responsibilities
Advance, plan and conduct executive protection assignments both domestically and internationally
Conduct residential security reviews and implement security and alarm systems
Conduct an overall assessment of site security programs, identifying gaps and working with the client to mitigate risks as appropriate
Conduct and coordinate investigations
Prepare threat assessments, protective intelligence reports, security reviews and corporate intelligence communications
Assist with the protection of personnel, assets and information including enhancements as threat escalates. Assist with the development of security business plans
Support the planning and execution of security programs for selected Company events and Executive Protection assignments
Coordinate with engineers to apply proven security technologies to global operations
Assist in risk reduction efforts and the implementation of security program reviews, surveys and training
Support key business initiatives by developing and disseminating threat-related intelligence
Establish and maintain relationships with local, state, Federal, Global and national governments and law enforcement agencies in order to ensure the timely flow of intelligence and threat information which may impact the security of personnel and operations
Assist in the development of security procedures and implementation plans for technical security projects and in the evaluation of existing systems to ensure operational effectiveness
Develop strategies and plans for implementation of new or updated security practices, processes or requirements
Participate in Emergency Response teams and deployments as appropriate
Business travel both domestically and internationally


Job Requirements


Bachelor's degree or international equivalent, preferably in an area of study relevant to the position (e.g., criminal justice, law, security management)
A minimum of five years' experience in law enforcement, military, or security related private sector job
Demonstrated ability in conducting a complex investigation
Demonstrated experience reviewing Intelligence products and extrapolating actionable guidance
Demonstrated experience providing security recommendations to senior managers based on identified threat assessments
Experience working in or providing security advice for high threat environments
Knowledge of technical security hardware
