Executive Protection Driver

Summary


The Executive Protection Driver is tasked with conducting close protection for a prominent business leader in San Francisco, CA. This role will be responsible for providing efficient and high-quality support directly to the client and staff, as well as safeguarding client assets. Protectors must work independently on projects, from conception to completion, work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities, competently respond to any situation that may arise while supporting the client, and actively support the organization’s mission.

Responsibilities & Expectations
Provide safe and secure vehicle transportation, to and from designated destinations
Advise the Executive passengers of potential delays due to traffic or construction; adjust route (when possible) to meet arrival time
Operates motor vehicles in a safe and legal manner
Maintain vehicle record, maintenance logs, and daily activity reports
Provide proximate coverage for CEO while in the office and throughout daily activities
Frequent up to 30% Domestic/International travel
Safeguards and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information
Conducts ongoing threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments
Conducts protective advance operations (routes selection, venue advance, surveillance detection, etc.)
Adhere to Executive Protection Program SOPs
Experience drafting SOPs, advance reports, operational orders, field detail logs, etc.
Will maintain a high level of physical fitness and personal appearance
Maintain global situational awareness of potential and developing risks potentially impacting executive staff and prepare related intelligence briefings
Candidates must be able to thrive in a very diverse environment
Demonstrated exceptional results in a client-service role; professional and positive communication style
Ability to work independently and to adapt to various work-paces while always maintaining a high-level of attentiveness and energy
Available for morning and evening coverage; shift duration is 8 and 16 hours
Maintain physicality to stand on your feet for several hours without a break, provide protective coverage during physically taxing activities including running, as well as maintain long schedules in the field


Required Qualifications
Valid CA DL required (with clean driving record)
Valid US Passport required
Ability to work non-traditional hours (e.g. nights, weekends, and holidays)
Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to conduct briefings that present clear, concise, logic-based conclusions to support and inform the executive decision-making process
Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment and help implement new ideas to help drive the EP program forward
Ability to work nights and weekends as required
Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations
Must have the ability to fluently speak, read, and write in English
Strong IT skills with knowledge of MS Office products
Excellent attention to detail & observational skills
Strong verbal and written skills

Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution preferred
Bilingual language skills
Advanced medical training (EMT-B or Paramedic)
Experience working with families and children in a high net worth environment
Experience working in the specified area of operations and familiarity with FBO’s
