The International Executive Protection Director has the critical mission of protecting Bank of America’s CEO and his Leadership team from many diverse and potentially damaging threats in the International space. Formulates security protocols and directs their implementation for the health and safety of senior management, clients, and associates at Bank of America sponsored events. Responsible for developing strategic business relationships with third party clients, law enforcement professionals in their market, and local businesses that service the events attended by our clients, associates, and senior management. Responsible for directing a team of security professionals in the implementation of security plans at major Bank events and functions, based on a threat continuum and ensures consistent application of professional security best practices. Develops strategic business relationships with lines of businesses.

The successful candidate will lead the Executive Protection team in the International space providing visible leadership that inspires commitment and builds trust among regional and global teams. This leader must bring a global mindset and demonstrate the ability to manage through complexity, possess strong relationship building skills, have proven security knowledge, experience, be innovative, and have the ability to execute.

Responsibilities
Monitor international security issues and intelligence associated with personnel and asset protection, and effectively interface with the business and management to ensure security processes are implemented and issues are addressed in a timely manner.
Travel with Executives using the EP model to provide a safe and efficient environment.
Establish and maintain personal security guidelines for personnel of the Corporation during high risk business related travel.
Coordinate all CEO and Direct reports trip logistics with the executive assistants, lines of business partners, medical facilities, Protective Services, local law enforcement, corporate travel and the State Department (if applicable).
Coordinate the use of Executive Protection manpower with operations. This includes:
Coordinating with executive to assign personnel to various advance teams.
Assigning and coordinating personnel being used on temporary assignments,
Review and approve all advance team manpower requests to ensure that corporate assets are efficiently used.
Coordination with major events
Prepare weekly documents that are disseminated to the EP Executive which summarizes all trip locations, trip logistics, manpower usage, and specifics/special instructions regarding certain venues.
Provide guidance to EP operations with issues or concerns that may develop over the course of the advance.
Ensure consistent application of professional best practices in administering the overall security programs.
Maintains close business relationships with all local business partner executives, ensuring significant issues are effectively communicated and acted upon.



Experience/Skill Requirements
Prior global law enforcement experience preferred or global corporate security experience (minimum of 5-10 yrs.)
Proven Security knowledge
High level relationship management
Proactive problem solver
Ability to establish productive partnerships with law enforcement agencies
Must have international travel experience
Bachelor's Degree required (Program/Major- Business, Security, Finance preferred)
Fluent in Spanish preferred
